⚠️ Green (Unroasted) Coffee Disclosure & Buyer Responsibility NoticeGreen (unroasted) coffee beans are a raw agricultural product and are NOT intended for consumption in their unroasted state.
Green coffee must undergo proper roasting and additional processing prior to consumption.
By purchasing green coffee, the buyer acknowledges and understands the following:
Green coffee requires further processing, including but not limited to:
Screening
Sorting
Roasting
Removal of defects and foreign material
Due to the nature of raw, unroasted coffee, small amounts of naturally occurring debris may be present, including but not limited to:
Burlap fibers or jute strands
Twine or string fragments
Cracked or broken beans
Coffee husk or shell fragments
Small stones or other field-related debris
These materials are common and expected in unroasted coffee and must be removed during normal pre-roast handling and roasting procedures.
Green coffee must be roasted properly before it can be consumed. Consumption of unroasted coffee is not recommended.
The final roast profile, flavor, quality, and outcome of the roasted coffee are entirely dependent on the buyer’s roasting process, equipment, skill level, and handling practices.
We do not guarantee or take responsibility for the final roasted product, including taste, appearance, or performance.
All roasting, post-roast processing, and food-safety compliance are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
By completing the purchase, the buyer agrees that they understand and accept these conditions.
The coffee sold as organic is purchased and imported as certified organic green (unroasted) coffee beans from the country of origin, where it was grown, harvested, and processed in accordance with the organic standards applicable at origin.
Organic Certification StatusThe coffee is certified organic at origin in its green (unroasted) form.
Upon arrival, we do not re-certify or maintain organic certification domestically, due to the high costs and administrative burden associated with ongoing organic certification and audits.
As a result, organic status is not re-certified or guaranteed after import, storage, handling, or sale.
Organic certification does not automatically carry over after roasting or further processing.
Typically, once green coffee is roasted, it must be processed in a certified organic facility and re-certified as “Roasted Organic Coffee” in order to be legally sold or represented as certified organic.
Any claims, labeling, or resale of this coffee as “organic” after roasting or further processing are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
By purchasing this product, the buyer acknowledges and agrees that:
The coffee must be handled, roasted, processed, and stored properly in accordance with applicable food-safety, organic handling, and regulatory requirements.
Any organic claims made after purchase, including resale or commercial use, are the buyer’s responsibility, including certification, compliance, and verification.
The buyer purchases and uses this coffee at their own risk.
